Thermophore Arthritis Pad Review

(More customer reviews)This is our second Thermophore 14 x 27, first one lasted about ten years or so, and we liked it enough to replace right away.
With temperatures up around 165 degrees, this will get in deep to your muscles and joints. A few rounds of 20 minutes on and 20 minutes off will work wonders.
One of the best features is that this pad is weighted all over with many flat metal weights that make it conform to your body for great contact and heat transfer.
Use with caution and read the instruction manual for warnings. See the Thermophore web site for more details.
Seems a bit expensive compared to standard heating pads, but it's in a class by itself and worth the investment.
Note, Don't be confused by the "Automatic" wording, it has a hand operated normally OFF switch. The Automatic refers to the moist heat since you don't have to wet it at all.
They now make the same unit with an automatic timer shut off switch if you might like that better than the manual switch that this one has. This one you have to hold the switch down to keep it hot, that way if you doze off it shuts it off.
The other is called "Automatic" with "Automatic switch"
BTW, the shipping service by 'The Therapy Connection at HPMS, Inc' was outstanding and it arrived in just a few days time. I'm sure that can vary, but my order shipped fast!

(More customer reviews)This is a nice back cushion, but it is not quite supportive enough - also it is holds in the heat so in the summer can make you a bit sweaty. It is better than trying to use a regular or travel pillow for back support, but the elastic strap really holds nothing and needs to be ditched totally. Not a total waste of money but not quite as good as it appears either. Ditch the elastic band and make it out of memory foam and it would be quite a bit better!

I purchased this set for $15, and at the same time, I also purchased just a fork from another company for $19.00. Both forks are so similiar and both are great; so save yourself some money and just buy this whole set. We really only use the fork and tablespoon, (the teaspoon is rather small and flat) but it is still cheaper to buy this whole set than it is to just buy one fork! I have two sets of these so that we always have a clean set when one is in the dishwasher.

(More customer reviews)This walker is a sturdy piece of equipment for people with mobility issues. It is heavier than another one I own and provides the stability I need for navigating city streets. It's not really geared for much shopping as the basket, although convenient, does not hold much beyond a purse or small items. However, I like the fact that it folds easily and has a small footprint so when I dine out, I don't need to find a large space in which to stow it. I recommend this mostly for walking, not much for shopping trips.

I spoke to the sender, they said I needed to wait 3 days for permission to return.
they have not responded yet 3 weeks later.
These wheels only fit one type of walker. I had to order the correct ones from another company.
Now I have wheels that fit nothing.

(More customer reviews)Having a real need for this item, was very happy to find it available at Amazon.com. One of those items also that you could use to fill in your order to bring it up to the free shipping total.
Quite frankly I think I just got one of the bum ones since this one really doesn't work. The thing is supposed to beep when starting and at other times, but nary a peep. Does not swithch back and forth from the centigrade to farinheit with the promised ease, plus, checking it against a mercury thermometer I really can't believe it displays the correct temperature. Considering the price and hassle, not worth a return. Just bite the bullet and hit the drug store.
Hopefull this is just the one out of hundreds that didn't work. Also, this is the second review I have submitted. The first one gone missing. Would hope that Amazon isn't editing our reviews?

Every time I have used it, however, it's been accurate to within a degree. I use it to screen to see if I need to take a rectal temperature, for example if it's over a hundred I usually take it rectally. I wish doctors would trust it, though

I have a 35" table and after 1 washing they were useless. Mind you every other brand of sheet I bought after this also said they fit 33" tables, but they manage to work even after repeated washings. In short, these sheets shrink A LOT. They also fade quickly and have nothing over lower priced sheet sets. Absolutely nothing.

We always used another popular litter pickup tool and I was skeptical of this tool when they first appeared. After using these Grapplers for a whole season I am convinced that they are the more superior tool of this type. These things can pick up a 24 oz. half full beverage bottle with ease. (Something the competition can't do.) They are also very durable. If a whole gang of people of all ages use these things all year around to maintain our crowded parks with minimal problems, that really says something. I've ordered one of these for my personal use. Camping etc. They're great for picking up camp and getting hard to reach things out of the back of your pickup. Two thumbs up!

(More customer reviews)The 10-second claim is misleading, as it refers only to rectal use. Oral readings take "15 to 25 seconds" according to the enclosed instructions, and actually more than 30 seconds.
While disappointing, that would be tolerable, except it tells me I'm 96F. Hey guys, I'm a mammal, not a reptile. And yes, I know not to drink before using it, and to keep my mouth closed, so I don't think I'm the problem. Back it goes!
