(More customer reviews)This is the lightest wheelchair with full wheels you can find. The build is of high-quality using airline grade aluminum. This replaces a 37 lb. Invacare Tracer EX2 that I bring up and down through 8 flights of stairs 4 times a week to transport a disabled person. Now the heavy wheelchair stays in the bedroom and I don't need to bring up/down a wheelchair. The Series S-115 Ultra Lightweight Ergonomic Wheelchair stays in the garage or in the vehicle.
It's 3 times the cost of a Tracer EX2 but it saves your back. An Invacare light wheelchair I saw in a local medical equipment store cost almost the same but it pales in comparison with regards to weight. I can lift the Series S-115 with just one hand.
If you are taking in/out a full-wheel wheelchair from a vehicle, this is the best option so far.
