Put a non-skid piece of material on the seat in order to carry dishes from one room to another. When I see this type of walker with hand brakes, I cringe. As explained by the physical therapists, when a person starts to lose their balance and fall, it's too late to grab the hand brakes. With this model, leaning on the unit engages the stoppers on the rear wheels. It's outstanding!
