(More customer reviews)The 3 wheel rollator is not exactly as shown. The tote bag was not included in the package when recieved. I called the company and as requested sent an E-mail notifying them of the missing tote bag. I
received an E-mail in reponse stating that the tote bag would be sent out to me; however, it has still not arrived. I received the E-mail from Prodigy Medical on 6-9-2011. The rollator works fine, rolls easily, folds compactly; but I did want the tote bag and am disappointed that it was not initially included and as yet has not been replaced.

Hybrid Rollator Transport Chair Color: Titanium Review

(More customer reviews)This works great as a walker, the height is easily adjustable and the seat is comfortable for short rests. The wheels are large and even handle relatively rough ground with ease. It folds up easily even with the foot rests attached and the storage bag is more convenient than I thought it would be, I prefer it to a basket under the seat. I prefer this walker to the more expensive 4 wheeled hard seated walker I used after foot surgery.
Switching to a wheelchair for short rides is convenient but it is not as good as a regular wheelchair. If your primary need is a wheelchair I recommend buying one instead of this. This combination rollator gave me the confidence to try longer walks shortly after my total knee replacement knowing I could stop and be pushed when I was too tired or in too much pain and it wasn't long before I took the foot rests off and used it exclusively as a walker.

My mom is vey tiny, fragile, and weak and loves this walker because it is super light weight and she gets around much beter now. No assembly required--just raised the seat a bit. Mom says she can't thank me enough! My sister loves it because it is so much easier to put in the car. All three of us are very happy with this purchase. Oh! It shipped super quick (2-days)!!!! I love it!

(More customer reviews)The Blue Tall Adult Rollite Rollator was just what I was looking for. I am 6'4" tall and found the max height to be comfortable. The seat is high allowing for seating at a counter. The 8" wheels make for easy use. The only drawback was the brake wires flared out and would catch on objects. I tied them down and the problem was resolved. The unit came assembled and was easy to set up. Would buy another if it needed to be replaced.

Invacare Value Four Wheel Rolling Walker Rollator Burg/Red Review

(More customer reviews)The item is just excellent for my needs and current level of ability. Lightweight enough for me to 'fold' and maneuver in and out of the rear end of my small Blazer, yet sturdy and large enough for me to convey myself and a modicum of 'stuff'. I just ordered a second one, in fact. The reason for this was that I utilize this rollator heavily at home, and also use it whenever I am 'out and about'. However, I cannot convey it (or much else either -- not the rollator's fault!) up and down the stairs that lie between 'home' and 'out'. So it seemed reasonable, especially at the price, to have one at either end of the stairwell.
I have very severe back problems. I needed a sturdy, lightweight mobility aid. This rollator is sturdy indeed (weight limit 300 pounds), has enough space in the seat for my "seat", collapses easily by raising the seat with one hand, and is lightweight enough for me to lift into my car, despite stenosis, scoliosis, and assorted other issues. Basket is large enough to hold multiple items, and is instantly removable. Handgrips have a small sloping wing that just fits the pad of the hand at the base of the thumb. When trekking around the Mayo Clinic, I have found this small 'resting' wing exceptionally helpful.
The best recommendation I can make for this product is that I have just ordered that second one.

(More customer reviews)Having placed this order for my mother on a Friday, I didn't expect it to arrive for a week, but it arrived the following Monday. The walker's seat is a little tall for her; she's 4'10", but the handles (set at their lowest) are perfect. It rolls easily even through the grass of her lawn. It came with the metal basket as pictured. It's easy to fold after removing the basket, and fits in the trunk of my Honda Accord, or in the back seat. It was very easy to put it together, but make sure the brake cables run on the inside of the metal frame, or they tend to hang up on every protrusion (door knobs, chairs). My mom feels much more confident when moving about her house, and when we need to go shopping it's great that she can sit whenever she wants.

(More customer reviews)My mother has been walking with a walker for a number of years. She's always seemed rather hesitant to go outside her apartment and we never understood why. We purchased this chair for her for her birthday and can not believe the confidence she now has. Just the simple fact that she can sit down and rest where she wants, when she wants, she's able to walk with more enthusiasm and for a longer period of time. It's amazing.
Two things we are going to do for transporting the unit is to replace the metal basket with a soft basket as you can't fold it with the metal basket. And do something about the handles or backrest as the width of those items when folded doesn't fit into the trunk of a car very well.
The construction and strength of this product is superior to those costing 3 times more. We looked at every model available.

(More customer reviews)My brother and I purchased this Hugo walker for my mom and are thrilled at the freedom it allows her to travel about while shopping, going to the doctor, and rolling all about. The front pocket holds her oxygen bottle, the seat lifts up to reveal a place for her purse, and provides a place to sit when she needs to catch her breath. It certainly is sturdy, but that is also it's only drawback. She cannot manipulate it to put it into the car. It is quite heavy and a bit awkward to lift. My mom is pretty small and will only use it when I am around to lift it up or down curbs and into and out of the car. Other than that, she almost needs an anchor to slow her down when she is using it. She loves it! And we do too!

(More customer reviews)This is a convenient accessory. The basket just hooks on the front of the walker. It also has a metal handle that folds down along the rim of the basket. It stays on pretty well even when it has stuff in it and you're picking up the front of the walker to change direction. It would be nice if it had a cup holder. It is a little expensive for just a simple wire basket, but helps make for shorter trips around the house or office. I recommend it.

Hugo Navigator Combination Rolling Walker + Transport Chair Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased the navigator for my 96 year old mother who was coming out of rehab for a broken and replaced hip.She is a little frail but is able to use the two wheel walker but not too far. She tried out a regular four wheeler with a seat and liked it but was still afraid to go too far.
She loves this! When she and her caregiver walk to the local mall and market, she walks as far as she can then flips the backrest around and uses it as a wheelchair.
It was delivered to my home and I spent less than 20 min. putting it together. It is built like a rock, although I think most of these things are. It was easy to collapse, but not as easy as a portable wheelchair. If I was giving advice to a new owner, I would tell them to collapse it 4 or 5 times in your home first just for practice.
For some strange reason she likes to use it as her kitchen chair when she eats as it can be pushed in to the right position, other than that she does not use it in her home.
You can push it on carpet but it is best on a hard surface. We went out to a few resturants and were able to use it as a confortable dining chair.

(More customer reviews)This was recommended by two physical therapists as being safer than those with hand brakes. It's outstanding in every way. Put a non-skid piece of material on the seat in order to carry dishes from one room to another. When I see this type of walker with hand brakes, I cringe. As explained by the physical therapists, when a person starts to lose their balance and fall, it's too late to grab the hand brakes. With this model, leaning on the unit engages the stoppers on the rear wheels. It's outstanding!

The basket in the front is a bit low but other than that I have no complaints. It is just the right size for my five foot tall mom. Best of all is the color. It is a fantastic shade of purple and I have never seen one in this color. It assembled very easily but the packaging was not the best. The box was banged up to the point where I expected to find a damaged item when I opened it. I guess it is a testament as to how well it is made as there was not a mark on it when I took it out of the box.
