(More customer reviews)I completely agree with the earlier reviewer- unlike other elevated seats which we've seen, this is actually a thick "spacer" with long bolts that attach it between an existing toilet seat and the ceramic toilet bowl. It's rigid and sturdy and the integrated handles are spaced for easy access. Furthermore, as a practical note, the opening is much roomier than the bolt-on seats which allows more comfortable and sanitary use. This is the best solution I've seen for a raised toilet seat.
