I bought the protector right after his injury to make grooming a little easier each morning. It's been a lifesaver. At first, it was a little difficult to pull it up over his splint because the opening on the gusset is rather small. But when we put on a woman's nylon stocking first, it went on much easier. The same for the cast- using a stocking first makes it easier. He's able to get in the shower without worrying about getting his cast wet. The gusset keeps all water out. I'm glad we haven't had to use a trash bag! Great product!
