(More customer reviews)Roho has been called "the Cadillac of wheelchair cushions" by physical therapists for good reason. It simply is the best. I have tried all the imitators...VicAir, for one, promoted by The Comfort Company whose triangular air balls can actually cause, not prevent sacrum wounds. Jay gel cushions have hard foam casings in which the gel pad lies, perhaps good enough for minimal skin breakdown risks, but I have had five stage 4 sacrum ulcerations and only the Roho wheelchair cushion has provided protection. Stay away from the Medline and other generic brands. Yes, the Roho is high maintenance and it's seams can
spring leaks under excessive stress, but take it from one paraplegic, confined to a wheelchair, who has had so many sacrum wounds, anything less than the Roho, or at least the Jay, is asking for more problems.
