(More customer reviews)I actually brought this on ehob's website. I ordered the bed overlay and seemed to work well so I ordered the chair overlay the next month. During the 4th month of having the bed overlay it punctured and the chair followed. After calling customer service, I was told there is only a 3 month warranty and I may have mis-used the product. My grandma is 90 y/o and 80 lbs and I'm a physical therapist who spent time transferring patients. This product should have held up. Due to the bad quality and bad customer service I gave this the lowest rating possible.

(More customer reviews)This is an excellent product being used by a family member who is disabled. It has considerably eased the discomfort that comes from sitting in a wheelchair all day. It eases pain that previously was felt on the pressure points and also eliminated the sores that sometimes accompany this situation.
I would highly recommend this cushion it has been a godsend and eased the worry re pressure point sores. It is expensive but to me worth every penny as the other air flotation cushions that were used were no where near as effective nor as comfortable as the Roho cushion.really a worthwhile investment.

(More customer reviews)I did a lot of research into many different seat cushions and decided on this one. It was a little more expensive than the others, but well-worth it. My husband is a big guy (6'8", 300 lbs.) and drives truck, so he needed something to ease the pain in his tailbone that would last. This product does just that. Naturally, I had to purchase the largest one, but they have many sizes and thicknesses to choose from to suit your particular body size. Also, this cushion is not on a slope like many of them are, which I've heard may make the problem worse. This works perfectly-even for bigger people and that's hard to find!

I developed soreness in the tailbone area that graduated into real pain after sitting for a period of time. I searched on tailbone relief and found this cushion on Amazon. It worked so well that I had my 88 yr old mother try it. Now we are both owners of the cushion. It fits in a standard work chair, but might be too wide for smaller chaors or car seats. Check dimensions before ordering. If it fits, it will relieve pain. 5 stars.

(More customer reviews)I am a woman with arthritis and MS and am dealing with a crazy amount of pain and tightness in the sacroiliac (SI) joint. I traveled on an airplane recently and tried to simulate what this type of pillow would do with a jacket (no luck). I knew I needed to research and buy a coccyx pillow asap.
I decided on this one over a ring shape because I thought that the shape and memory foam would be more useful in the car, on planes, sitting in meetings or just sitting at the kitchen table. It's been nice and provides a great amount of relief. I've been concerned about the potential for pressure sores for me (I do not use a wheelchair but sit a lot and have very little natural cushion on my tush). This is a nice cushion. Firm enough to seem like it will hold up for some time and with a durable cover and handle.
5 stars.
UPDATE Jan 25 - I love this thing and am going to buy two more (1 for each car). I feel like Linus with his blanket ... I tote the this cushion all over the place :) Simple, logical relief.

(More customer reviews)The basic design is very good if only it worked properly. Unfortunately the air valves are very poorly designed. One of them leaked and couldn't be fixed so I had to send it back. It cost too much for shipping to risk going through it again. But the valves don't protrude from the inflatable. You have to press your mouth against the inflatable part to blow it up and then there is nothing to pinch to keep the air from coming back out while you try to press in a little plastic tab to stop the air. There are two valves, one for each side, and one didn't work at all.

If you have any type of bladder issues or are receiving treatment for bladder issues your better off getting the large its less pressure on everything down there. It also helps support your lower back.

(More customer reviews)My husband has years of problems with his lower back which necesitated him to sit rather than lie down, even when he sleeps. He has gone through a half dozen types of cushions. Because of the constant sitting, he has developed 'bed sores'. While we were treating the wounds, we found that nothing was comfortable for him. Our son looked up 'cushions' on the Web and found this air-pocket cushion that was made for truckers. On his advice, we ordered it. It took the full seven days to get here but after several tries of getting the air exactly correct, he has been able to sit much more comfortbly. Best of all, it is well built; the last cushion he tried, the best one that the pharmacy had, had to be replaced four times for bursting at the seams.

A previous reviewer termed the cushion too "squishy", and while I'll partly concur with the reviewer, the cushion fits my situation perfectly. OK, maybe it could be a little less soft, but not much. The company (CWI Medical) is very good and reliable. Cutout was large enough to relieve my coccyx pain, and you can order 4" thick, which is very good.
