(More customer reviews)The seat was well padded and sturdy, for that it was a good buy. But the weight of it was too much for my mother to handle. If she dropped it, she could not pick it up again. Also, the walker could not be folded flat while the seat was attached in the non-sitting postion. I found that too combursome for trips to the store or doctor's offices.
I would have liked to have known the weight of the seat and exactly how it was attached to the walker. Chances are I would not have purchased this item and subsequently returned

Case Logic Oversized Zipper-Pulls Review

(More customer reviews)I am in a difficult position on this product. It looks nice - but it breaks if you pull too hard.
Mine broke on the second or third use in pulling a zipper around a tight curve. The ring goes through a hole in the rubber and it ripped right through the rubber.
Not very encouraging.
CaseLogic offers a 5 year warranty and I will be calling them tomorrow to see how they handle this situation. I will append my review accordingly.
In terms of design, these are top-notch. They verge on being too big, but it is their size that makes them so useful. No need for finding a dainty little pull with these hummers. Just reach out, wrap your fingers in these and pull. For heavily used bags, these are great - they make getting stuff in and out easier and quicker.
Owing to my breakage incident, I have concerns about overall durability, but if CaseLogic honors their warranty and doesn't charge a bundle (if anything) for shipping replacements, it is a problem that can be lived with.
N.B.: 02/26/10 I called CaseLogic and was very impressed with their customer support. No complicated phone tree. No waiting on hold. Very courteous representative. Painless and quick procedure to get a replacement. A very positive experience.

Brown Medical SEAL-TIGHT Original Cast and Bandage Protector, Arm Review

(More customer reviews)I have to be in a cast for five weeks and ordered this to use for showering. It does the job, but is not comfortable. I later tried the "sport" type and liked it much better.
The large, rigid ring at the top of this cover makes it quite unwieldy and awkward. Also, I don't think it's made for average or larger adults. I'm a size 16 lady and the rubber seal at the top was unbearably tight at the top of my arm. It completely cut off my circulation and was extremely painful. I remedied this by enlarging the opening with scissors, which made it somewhat bearable.
The sport style is much more comfortable though.
PRO: sturdy, keeps cast dry, seems like it would last
CON: too tight, awkward, unwieldy

(More customer reviews)Got the peddler yesterday and put it together and used it last evening. It's a very substantially constructed item- nothing cheezy about it. Being relatively heavy, it doesn't slide around easily when you use it.
The great thing about it is that it is simple to assemble: two screws attach the 2 feet parts to the peddle mechanism and those screws have nice, large, smooth knobs that you turn to tighten down- no sharp ends or tiny screw heads requiring any tools to try to work with arthritic fingers. Also, the knob regulating peddle resistance is smooth and well-made too. This is a great feature- being able to make it harder to peddle as you get stronger (this way you can continue to get stronger).
Foot peddle straps are nice and large and there's no open peddle mechanism or exposed chain to get clothing caught in- and the peddling action is very smooth.
All-in-all it's a high-quality item, not some chintzy thing and it appears to be made to last. Also recommend anyone with knee arthritis to check out Treat Your Own Knee Arthritis.

Until this oil is given a more detailed description, there is no way I'm going to risk purchasing it and risk having any of my clients suffer from an allergic reaction.

(More customer reviews)I was pleased with the quality of the threshold ramp. It was exactly as described in the listing, arrived on time, etc.
However, the threshold to which I wanted to attach the ramp is completely covered in ceramic tiles(inside and out). The product is designed to be screwed into wood (or perhaps concrete). My solution was to attach industrial-strength velcro to the threshold and ramp. This seems to have worked (I was concerned that trying to drive screws into the tiles would crack them, so elected not to proceed down that road).

(More customer reviews)My husband it disabled and has become wheelchair bound. I purchased this to make it a little easier for him. It does hold on well to the seat, but it is also narrow between the handles. So, we removed the handles, main reason we purchased this one.
The way the seat sits on the toilet and the space between the seat and toilet seat leaves a lot of room for messes. We have had urine all over the outside of the toilet and the floor. Sorry, don't mean to be gross.
When I removed the seat it was just a mess. I disinfected it and tried it again and again, still a mess. We took it off. What a waste. Not worth the mess on a daily basis.

When I saw this behemoth of a pillbox, I was curious and had to explore it more and read about it. I took the plunge and ordered one since I have problems with short term memory and sometimes forget if I have taken medications or not. This box leaves no room for wondering.
It's LARGE. But it's worth every inch of the space. Take the time once a month to fill it up (or fill it up weekly) and you will be all set. If you have a partner to help you, all the better.
What a great invention. Green means "go" (the pillbox is ready) and red means "empty". Simple and ingenious.
This works great for me.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this chair to transport my mother to medical appointments and other places. I have been very pleased with it. We have been using it for several months now and it is sturdy and seems like it will hold up for many years to come. It is very easy to push and steer for the person doing the pushing. The handlebars have a nice feel to them and are at a good height. My Mom tells me it has a very comfortable seat for the passenger, as well. It is ready to go right out of the box. All you have to do is pull it apart to open the seat, flip up the handlebars, and attach the footrests (no tools are required). It folds up fairly compactly when the handlebars are flipped down. The folded chair just fits in my car's trunk. It might not fit into a small car trunk but you should be able to set it in the backseat if that is a problem. It does weigh about 30 pounds so consider this if you have to lift it up into a trunk. My Mom and I are very happy with and glad we bought this - it is nice to not have to depend on a chair being available at your destination!

(More customer reviews)Not as good as others we had installed professionally in another bathroom. This had no rubber gasket to mount under the mounting plates. I had to use silicone caulk to apply under the plate. Without it, the risk is that water will drip down the tile wall, get behind the plate, and get into the mounting holes, and into the wall, to damage plaster and wallboard behind. The directions did not address this issue in any way.
With the holes as they are, there is no way to hit a stud even with one-half of the supplied stainless steel screws. I had to drill 9/16" holes through ceramic tile and plaster to use "molly" type anchors. In addition I had to buy stainless steel machine screws to replace the zinc plated screws that come with anchors. If you don't use stainless screws, you are sure to have rust in the shower

Lost it, knee worsened, found best price at Amazon. This thing seems to take the place of weakened ligaments, tightens-up the knee and kneecap. Problems with walking and stairs are gone. Comfortable to wear, easy to put on. Have tried several over-the-counter braces, none match this for comfort and effect. Thinking about one for the other knee.
