We have it snapped to the crutches and have had no problems with it moving falling off etc. It frees up his hands to carry other things and he can put his sodas, paper work etc all in the pocket and then carry a plate of food or something. I would recommend this for anyone that uses crutches or anything that helps them with mobility. It takes some of the weight off, so you will be able to free up your hands. Highly recommended.
