(More customer reviews)I am in a difficult position on this product. It looks nice - but it breaks if you pull too hard.
Mine broke on the second or third use in pulling a zipper around a tight curve. The ring goes through a hole in the rubber and it ripped right through the rubber.
Not very encouraging.
CaseLogic offers a 5 year warranty and I will be calling them tomorrow to see how they handle this situation. I will append my review accordingly.
In terms of design, these are top-notch. They verge on being too big, but it is their size that makes them so useful. No need for finding a dainty little pull with these hummers. Just reach out, wrap your fingers in these and pull. For heavily used bags, these are great - they make getting stuff in and out easier and quicker.
Owing to my breakage incident, I have concerns about overall durability, but if CaseLogic honors their warranty and doesn't charge a bundle (if anything) for shipping replacements, it is a problem that can be lived with.
N.B.: 02/26/10 I called CaseLogic and was very impressed with their customer support. No complicated phone tree. No waiting on hold. Very courteous representative. Painless and quick procedure to get a replacement. A very positive experience.
