(More customer reviews)I can not recommend this product to anyone, especially an elderly person, due to the poor quality of manufacture, and the lack of warranty support.
The Gel-Foam shifts and leaves a gap where support is needed, making the patient, my elderly Mother, accumulate fluid in her feet because of no Foam-Gel support for her upper-side leg and butt areas, also causing irritation to her skin when she has to sit for extended periods of time.
(several hours later, after getting up from the commode with this cushion, her feet return to normal, not puffy... her feet do not puff-up when sitting on a regular chair)
The inner opening area has a "seam" that also cuts into her skin if not covered with an additional "urine Pad" with a cut-out for access.
GRAHAM-FIELD HEALTH PRODUCTS, INC. offers insult to injury when they refused to replace it, within 7 days of purchase, saying nothing is wrong with it, and it's supposed to be that way.
The place of purchase, (not Amazon.com), has tried working with the manufacturer for a replacement, but with no success. The manufacturer refuses to admit a problem exists.
My suggestion is to stay away from any products made by GRAHAM-FIELD HEALTH PRODUCTS, INC.
