(More customer reviews)As a young person that required a hip replacement, this chair served me well in a couple of ways. The last thing I wanted to adorn my home with was hospital decor. The brown vinyl cushion with brown/copper speckle paint were as neutral as anything else I could find. If it weren't for it's height, nobody would question it's purpose. The cushion is comfortable and the frame very sturdy. I felt very confident getting in and out, as the arms would support my weight without flexing. The only improvement I would suggest is to make the armrests from the same cushion material. They are a soft plastic which occasionally reminded me I had elbows.
