(More customer reviews)Hose has enough pressure to prevent swelling. In my case, I have slight-moderate varicose veins prior to my pregnancy,which escalated in the last 2 weeks of pregnancy. Wearing these helped prevent ankle and feet swellings. Check with your doctor first. I like them overall, but prefer the knee high because the top of these thigh high hose is lose on me, so the elastic bands tend to fold down on their own. Very good quality product.
