Therapist Select Quad-Roller Massaging Cushion with Heat Review

(More customer reviews)Hello friends. I am 5'9" which affects the areas that this cushion can reach. In a local store I sat in three massage cushions: this one, Homedics SBM-500H Therapist Select Shiatsu1 Massaging Cushion with Heat, and HoMedics Therapist Select Shiatsu Plus Massaging Cushion with Heat - Black/ Gray . I bought this one because: (1) the SBM-500H is isolated to shoulders and to lower/mid back and did not reach the upper back between the shoulder blades. This cushion does reach into shoulder-blade territory though I wish it would go up even higher. That appears to be a necessary sacrifice when getting a massage cushion instead of a massage chair or hiring a massage therapist. (2) the rolling feature on the Shiatsu Plus did not have adjustable width and this one does. FYI: The packaging is mostly marketing mumbo-jumbo and not very informative. You have to get the manual to see some helpful details like the following... NOTE: this should only be used for 15-min sessions (or else it will overheat). The machine turns itself off after 15 minutes so there is no need to set a timer. ALSO NOTE: instructions say this is not for use while laying down or in a car. THIRD NOTE: the pressure applied by the other two was perfect for me and this one "digs in" more. The instructions suggest covering this one with a towel if it is painful and that towel trick works fine for me.

Because they're meant for donning therapeutic hosiery the grip pattern, resembling little pyramids on the gloves' palm surface, they have lots of grip. These pyramids are a bit larger when compared to the usual texture of other household gloves. These flock-lined gloves also have a length that goes to the mid-forearm. The latex itself is about as thick as latex household gloves.
If you're looking for a quality green latex glove then these are a worthy addition.

(More customer reviews)I purchased two of these Grabbers and both had serious problems. In the middle of the bar there is a mechanism to lock the length in place. On one of the units the button that you push to lock it was rolling around in the box and had to be repaired, which I did. When you squeeze the trigger on the other one the suction cups close and won't release the item you picked up. This happens each time you use the grabber without sliding the lock that allows you to hold an item without continuing to squeeze the trigger. I would not advise anyone to purchase this grabber.

Drive Medical Deluxe Walker Glide Cover, Black Review

These glide covers (At least on my walker) do not work
The ones that come in the box are not the ones as pictured.
And I also see now the price has dropped because I paid around 8 bucks for these at the time,from Amazon.
The caps I received were of a cheap plastic knockoff that my husband had to really force them on to make them "fit"
which the caps really did not!
(And yes I have the Drive medical walker model that these are supposedly designed for)
And the caps were worn and were unusable in about 4 days.
I am recommending to all do not buy these!
Eventually what I had to do was buy a whole kit of replacement front wheels that came with the correct glide covers
so what went from an 8 dollar purchase from Amazon ended up costing me 38.00 in total
to buy a new wheel kit with covers that fit and 4 months later
the covers that came in the 30.00 kit are still fine.

Nimbo Rehab Lightweight Posterior Posture Walker Review

(More customer reviews)My son is 7 and has a spinal cord injury following a automobile accident a few months ago. He progressed to a walker that was loaned to him by his physical therapist, but it was the wrong size. We were having problems finding a DMA provider that had pediatric walkers nearby and they said it would be 3 weeks. This came so fast and was a breeze to set up. The front wheels can be set in either fixed or swivel position (much easier for turning) with just a twist of a knob on each leg. The back wheels can either rotate fully forwards/backwards or stay fixed forward, very important as my son would fall if he slid backwards. It is easy to fold to put in the car, and easy to unfold also. Height adjustmends are simple as well. It is reasonably lightweight so his friends have no problem carrying it for him when he is in his wheelchair. His therapists love the way it works and everyone loves the color. To give you an idea of the color, we live in North Carolina and it is a perfect Panther's Blue!

Freestyle Lite Blood Glucose Monitoring System NFR Review

(More customer reviews)I have tested the Freestyle lite glucometer, and found it very easy to use and totally pain free.
To test glucose level, you can prick yourself anywhere and spare your fingers. I tested and compare the results of finger test and other places, (within 2 minutes between tests) and the difference was about 6 to 12 mg/dl.
the glucometer uses test strips that needs only 0.3uL drop of blood. the strip has two sensors, but you should apply blood to only one of them (either one). the other is used for reference, so the result is compensated for temperature humidity and manufacturing variations.
if you don't put enough blood on the sensor, the device waits (up to 60 seconds) for you to add more blood. be sure to add it to the same sensor! if you put it on the other one (as I once did by mistake), you will get a low, error result.
the included lancing device is safe and easy to use,and you can set it to four lancing depth (according to your skin thickness).
The communications cable, that connects the device to the PC is NOT included in the package and sold separately.
Accuracy:
for successive tests (either same or different test body zones): 6-15mg/dl.
Control solution tests: 3 tests (on two freestyle glucometers): max. difference = 2mg/Dl. ~ 2%
anomalies:
from 70 tests: two abnormal readings that didn't repeat on successive test.
Please make sure to clean the testing site before lancing it! even small contaminates (mostly sugar based...) may affect the results!

When patient is in upright drinking position, beverage holder is not long enough to reach, even with a long straw. Very lightweight, does not hold a large or heavy beverage- looks like it might work with a small paper or plastic cup, but who has time to keep refilling those? Would not purchase this item for its intended use.

THE LARGER WHEELS WITH THE LOOP TYPE BRAKES ARE EASISER TO OPERATE AND ARE MUCH, MUCH SAFER, BECAUSE THE OPERATOR DOESN'T HAVE TO EITHER KICK THE BRAKES ON OR BEND TO OPERATE THEM.
I DON'T KNOW WHY I DIDN'T DISCOVER THIS CHAIR MUCH EARLIER.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CHAIR FOR COST, EASE OF OPERATION AND THE LIGHT WEIGHT FOR LIFTING INTO AND OUT OF MY MINI VAN.

Put very little air in it to work best as a butt cushion. Also good for lower back - put as much or little air as you need for comfort.
