(More customer reviews)This ramp is great. It's really easy to set up and roll back down. Works really well for my front door steps. However, a word of caution: use work gloves or some other sort of thick glove when handling it. The edges are quite sharp and I cut myself several times setting it up and taking it down. I use work gloves to handle it now so it's no longer an issue, but I would think that the manufacturer would realize this and do something to bevel or dull the edges. Besides that, works as expected!

(More customer reviews)I have an elderly parent with a minor incontinence issue and we always had to have the plain white pads everywhere she would sit - but they were all the local medical supply and pharmacies had. These work just as well and they look a bit like a blanket which greatly reduces her embarrassment and she is MUCH more comfortable with visitors and when going out.
Who knew there were so many choices in pads - I went to the manufacturer's website, www.medline.com and found a pdf listing ten different categories of pads with different sizes. I was really happy I found them and that I could get them from Amazon - local medical supply was charging $20/pad for larger, white pads.

(More customer reviews)We are very pleased with this chair, it is of suprisingly good quality, especially for the price. It weighs only nineteen pounds which is important when lifting it into a car trunk. It is also very easy to fold and unfold, taking only seconds and folding very flat. It is comfortable, stable, and stout, no flimsy factor making you worry if it will collapse or tip over. It is more maneuverable than a regular wheelchair and can go into tighter spots which helps fitting into small examining rooms at physicians offices and getting down narrow aisles in restaurants and retail establishments. My mom finds it comfy enough to sit in it for long periods when visiting without bothering to sit in a regular chair. However, it might not be roomy enough for a really large person (big/tall man or very obese person) to spend much time in it comfortably, but I think it would still be OK for transporting from point A to point B.

Bariatric Heavy Duty Walking Crutches Review

I assumed that at 6'3" I would need extra long crutches (the product description does not offer any guidance as to what specific heights they are for). I was wrong. They are way too long for me. My guess is that you would need to be at LEAST 6'6" for them to be appropriate for you. They also weigh a ton (the product description says 10 lbs, but it seems like more). You need to be plenty strong to use these crutches. I could lift them only with difficulty. In sum these crutches would be appropriate for someone like an NFL defensive end or an NBA center or power forward who is plenty tall and plenty strong and who has nothing more wrong with him than a foot/ankle/knee injury. On the positive side, to be fair, the crutches really are constructed well to be very strong, and the seller had them here very fast. I would have rated the crutches more highly if their product description had been more detailed and provided some guidance as to the physical characteristics of the user they are appropriate for. As it is/was, the lack of such assistance caused me to make my best guess and that guess was wrong. $50 wasted by my lack of careful judgment.

(More customer reviews)At first glance, the Lifesource XL-18 Tri-Axial Activity Monitor with its built in digital accelerometer for tracking movement seems to be a worthy fitness tool. Like similar systems, calibrating for a correct stride length is crucial for collecting accurate data on workouts. An easy to understand guide for calculating stride length is included in the directions.
The XL-18 calculates and displays my daily step count, distance traveled, battery life and calories burned. It stores this information for up to 14 days. I like the fact that it measures intensity levels of both power walking or running. There are no on/off buttons. This unit will turn itself off if I'm idle for sixty seconds or more. It operates on a CR2032 lithium battery.
Weighing in at not even 2 ounces, and measuring 3" x 1.4" x 0.4" its all about portability. It operates without any hiccups while in my pocket or in my backpack. However, it doesn't power up or monitor when dangling free. The only negative that I have found is that it doesn't allow for downloading workout data. This has to be done manually.
The Lifesource Tri-Axial Activity Monitor XL-18 is packaged with a long lanyard, brief instructions and battery. The manufacturer's website is totally useless for product registration or warranty information. This monitor is not even listed.
Overall, I give the XL-18 Monitor points for portability, functions and price. I find it to be an economical workout tool that delivers on the basics.
