My husbad put one on himself from another toilet seat, using velcro strips on the back side of the elevated seat.

Spoke to customer service about returning the item and found out that once we opened the box it is now considered "used" and it can not be sent back for any type of refund. I tried to reason with customer service and he did his best to end the conversation.
If you decide to use the vendor make sure you do not open the packaging once it arrives to see the contents because at that point it is yours to keep.

(More customer reviews)After "DW" sprained her MCL, I wanted to get it fast. I'm normally a DEDICATED Amazon shopper, but I was able to get next-day-air by contacting CSN directly. The most important advantage of the M-Brace products is the cotton velour fabric. Other brands, even when they're selling you a nylon/lycra "premium fabric", DON'T keep your skin as cool as cotton. This product is intended for comfortable use, with compression, in daily life. NOT FOR CONTACT SPORTS! That's because the hinge assemblies are quite light and easily bent (with large pliers) for an exact fit. If you'll be crashing into opponents, or the floor, then you'll need to look for heavy-duty hinges instead.
Compression is provided by pulling two pairs of comfy, protective velcro pads across the front. Each pad is attached to the side by 8 interlocking straps. This provides a MUCH better match for uneven tissue shapes (swelling, surgically-removed "crud", and so on. It's vastly better than both the solid hunks of Neoprene *and* the single-strap tighteners in competing products.
5 stars. But, if you don't NEED compression, you might prefer an "open-knee" alternative. And remember: if you're doing "active" sports, this is NOT the one for you -- the hinge arms are too short, and the metal isn't stiff enough.

31" Reacher Review

(More customer reviews)Would appear that Medline bought the rights to take up where "The Golden etriever" left off. The latter was, without question, the absolute best grabber/reacher available. I was sorely disappointed to learn that The Golden Retriever is no longer available. I was relieved to find the Platinum Reacher which, except for a difference in color and with one glaring fault, is identical in style down to the last detail--almost--of The Golden Retriever. The fault? In the stiff compression spring that has been substituted used in place of the just-right compression spring action of the original. I ordered two of the 31" Platinum Reachers from Medline and, except for the stiff spring, was very impressed with overall design and construction. Fortunately, I found that I could take apart the squeeze handle assembly and replace the stiff compression spring with the nearest equivalent I could find as used in the original Golden Retriever. I had gone to TrueValue Hardware, HomeDepot, and Lowes without finding a suitable spring. Thankfully, I found what I was looking for at Westlake Hardware.
Had I not been able to replace the compression springs in the two reachers that I'd ordered, I would have counted my purchases as failed. Cost me only $2.69 to fix the problem. Surely Medline will address as well at some point. The stiff spring action of the reacher as currently delivered is, as far as I am concerned, unacceptable. This is a one-star item as delivered, would be a 5-star with a substantially less resistive compression spring.

Standard Foam Hospital Bed Mattress Review

However, the tag says it contains "100% densified polyester." and the Drive name appears nowhere on the mattress. The mattress is extremely uncomfortable, sags in the middle, and provides no support for the lower back - the purpose for which I purchased it. I have tried to contact the seller (AmericanRx) but they have not responded. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

(More customer reviews)These crutches are very well constructed. I was somewhat concerned whether or not I would like the "spring-loaded" feature, but it is actually quite good. Between that and the ergonomic handles, there is not the jarring impact you get with a solid crutch. Definitely easier an the hands.
If I had to site one negative, it would be the weight, but that is also part of the sturdiness factor. I think the spring-loading actually helps here too since the crutch sort of helps you lift when the spring recoils.
I would definitely buy them again and recommend them to a friend.

Most commodes you find have a weight limit of 250 lbs but this one has a weight limit of 500 pounds, which makes it a hard product to find. I got it the next day without even paying for overnight shipping. All in all I found the company great to deal with.

The Pikstik is shorter, but from my wheelchair it is great. The prongs are strong, and wider to get larger cans from the pantry. Seems to be very balanced weight and easy handle. The significance of being able to simply shut a door quickly and easily is underappreciated until, for example, you're in a hurry to go somewhere or you're being rained on. This product looks so simple, but it's amazing how smooth and effective it really is. Sure you could rig something up at home with a string, but these are ready-made and look great.
The only issue I had was trying to get them to stay on my lever-style door handles. Heating and forming them didn't work very well, but a zip tie worked like a charm. They're well worth it!
