(More customer reviews)I've been a caregiver for my mother with MS for 6 years. She's faced with diminishing capability to stand and transfer. I've purchased three other commodes including the costly 'lift' commode and the Lumex commode just arrived today. I absolutely LOVE this commode. It's the lightest commode I've ever seen (even lighter than mom's standard walker). The padded seat and back support is not found on any other commode I can find. The open area in the front AND the back are very helpful for adjusting incontinence pads and underwear. And this goes into the shower! You can't believe the bang for your buck. I'm more than happy to recommend this product. Shop around, you can find it for around $100 + shipping.

Pros:
Very Comfortable. Conforms to shape of your butt and provides great cushioning. Cover looks good and is soft enough. Comes with a nice pump and some repair patches in case it develops pinholes. Easy to inflate with the pump and can be adjusted easily to your personal preference.
Cons:
Vinyl may be easy to damage, especially if over-inflated (its easy to over-inflate). This particular cushion is fairly small and will not cover any but the smallest-seated task chair.
Other Thoughts:
This is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I sit for long hours on a task chair at my computer, and I was developing a painfully fatigued rear. This cushion makes my computer seat almost as comfortable as my La-Z-Boy.
The only complaint I have about this cushion is that it runs a little small. If your chair seat is large, it might be more comfortable to switch it out (your chair) for a smaller seated chair and use the cushion on it, which is what I did. Alternatively you could buy one of this company's larger cushions, not specifically made for task chairs, but I haven't tried this myself.
This cushion is made of vinyl and is inflatable. But don't confuse this with those horrible air mattresses. This cushion is comprised of many small interconnected chambers that distribute weight and conform to your shape. Properly inflated, it is easily the most comfortable cushion I have ever used. Amazingly comfortable, in fact.
Be careful not to over-inflate this cushion. Not only will it not be comfortable, you might damage it. Use the pump just until the chambers look barely filled, then sit on the cushion and let air out until it feels right, then tighten the valve to close the air in. If you need to adjust it again, the included pump makes it easy.
If you are suffering from a sore butt from sitting on your office chair, you need this cushion. It made my computer sessions go from miserable to almost enjoyable. I know this review sounds like a sales-pitch, but test this thing out and you will be trying to sell it to your friends, too.

(More customer reviews)I have both the omron 720it (computer downloadable) and hj 112...both are extremely accurate and easy to use...this revision of the pedometer concept is terrific...small but large numbers...easy to set and use...it really does work in any position...the display blanks out to save power so it is inconvenient to constantly be looking at it...still not much of a problem...i checked it against my other omrons and it's within 0.7%...it keeps better track of aerobic activity than the others (they only record after 10 min of activity...the hj 303 after 4 seconds)...overall, the size (small) and accuracy and ease of use make this pedometer an outstanding device for walking or running.

(More customer reviews)i ordered the earthlite fluffy bolster to help me rest more comfortably when sleeping on my back. this is a thick, firm bolster that will hold your knees up. i would not recommend this item if you just want a little support under your knees. it is well-constructed and hypoallergenic. it will need a fabric cover in warmer weather. it is firm enough to hold my legs up, but soft enough for comfort. perfect for my needs.

This is a strong, stable, and safe, foot stool. They are so good, I own three of them. Drive Medical and Design is a major manufacturer of medical equipment and supplies for hospitals and other medical facilities, and if this stool is any indication, they make first-rate products. Next time you're in a hospital or doctor's office, look around and chances are you'll see this brand of stand. I'm 6/4 and 270 lbs., and this thing doesn't flex even a little, when I step on it.
Dimensions: 11" x 14" tread, 9" height. The legs/feet flare out slightly for a depth of 14" and width of 16.5", for outstanding stability. Absolutely rock solid and non-tipping, even if you stand on the outer edge. According to my postal scale, the stool weighs 6 lbs.; it doesn't feel heavy at all. (This is the size & weight of MY stools; slightly different from Amazon's description.)
The stool has large slip-resistant rubber feet on 1" chrome-plated steel legs. The tread is thick, ribbed, slip-resistant rubber, and the welded cross-braced frame is so strong, the stool is rated at an incredible 500 lbs. Drive Medical makes a lighter (5 lb.) stool, the model #13030-1, but it lacks the cross-bracing and is rated at [only] 300 lbs. For just a few dollars more, get this fabulous cross-braced unit for the safest foot stool available.

Pride Jazzy 614 HD Review

(More customer reviews)I got this power chair in Dec 2010. First thing that happened was one of the caster wheels split. It took forever for the company that sold this Preferred Home Care to pick it up and leave a loaner. Many phone calls went unanswered.
Second thing that happened was that the power chair would run fast, then slow, would pull to the right. I called on 5/9/2011. Each CSR that called wanted the same info that I gave the first one. On 5/17 the first CSR called and took the same infor I gave him on the 9th of May. He said he would request a loaner for me. Got the loaner on 5/27. On 6/10 received call from Bill who said the problem was batteries. Got chair back on 6/17.
Chair ran ok for a couple of days and started doing the same as before. Today is 7/6. Called and as usual, talked to a voice mail. I would not recommend this Power Chair to anyone

Having this walker tray eliminated the need for the t.v. tray she was using. The only drawback is the cup holes are either too big or too small for the cups that she uses, so I had to find new cups.

Upon opening the Amazon box, I found the manufacturer's box to be damaged on one end, as if dropped from quite high or smashed by a lot of weight. This had to have happened before it was put in the Amazon box. When I opened the inner box, I found the bottom welded assembly to be bent so badly that only two of the four feet would touch the floor at the same time. When I called about a replacement, I was told that there would be a three week or more wait for shipping. I returned the item for refund. Very disappointed that Amazon would ship an obiously damaged box without checking to be sure the item was in good condition. The quad cane itself looked just like what I wanted and would have rated it 5 stars if it had not been damaged.
